Our worship services are contemporary with music led by a live band, message led by the pastor, as well as videos, time for prayer and reflection, and communion (offered every week at our 9:00 a.m. service and every 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday at our 11:15 a.m. service). We offer excellent Bible studies for youth and adults (with free childcare for infant children through those in Grade 5) during our Education Hour from 10:10 a.m. to 11:10 a.m., and a study for children during our 11:15 a.m. service. We also have a staffed nursery for children ages 2 and under during the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Bible teaches us that our offerings to God should reflect the belief that all we have is His gift to us. During our services, we receive an offering as a way to worship and honor God, and show our trust in His ability to provide for us. You may also give an offering through the kiosk in our lobby or online, and are welcome to participate as you heart leads you to give.
Our dress at Living Hope is casual, but you are welcome to dress however you like! Please know however you dress is acceptable to God and us!
ENTERING THE CHURCH
As you enter our church, you’ll be greeted by members in the lobby. We encourage you to visit our information desk to receive information on our children, youth, adult and family ministries. Our worship center is located on the left. Ushers will be there to greet you and to help you find your seat. Please ask one of the ushers if you have any questions about our worship service. They also will provide you with bulletin which lists all of the upcoming events at Living Hope. The ushers can also provide children with activity bags to use during our 9:00 a.m. service, as well as our 11:15 a.m. service, if you would like them to worship with you.
ARRIVING & PARKING
Living Hope has one entrance, located off of Stilesboro and Mack Dobbs. Please feel free to park anywhere in the lot. If it is full, you are welcome to park on the gravel lot. The Living Hope entrance is located to the left of the covered awning.
We understand that it can be somewhat scary to walk into an unfamiliar place, especially if you’re not used to churches. Our worship at Living Hope is as comfortable and non-threatening as possible, so we have outlined some essential information about what you could expect for your first time with us.
