Care for Kids Spotlight Amanda
Amanda Boucher
Amanda Boucher, daughter of Jim and Kathy Boucher, was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at age 5. Her body no longer produces insulin and she requires daily insulin shots to stay alive. At the age of 7 she now wears an insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitor to give her body the daily insulin she requires, both research devices funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Amanda loves gymnastics, horses, swimming, her family and Jesus! She is an unbelievably brave, sweet and beautiful child. She is greatly loved by those who are blessed to be a part of her life, and all look forward to what God has in store for Amanda throughout her life!
You can join Living Hope and Open Arms in helping Amanda in her ongoing efforts to give back and raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation! Checks made be made payable to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and turned in to Joy Schubert at any time.

We're located on Stilesboro Rd. and Mack Dobbs Rd.
